The foundation of prayer has strengthened the brethren of House of Prayer Clarksville, TN, and solidified the unity found here. It was James who told us, “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” (James 5:16 NIV)

House of Prayer Christian Church Clarksville TN Testimony

It was at House of Prayer Christian Church in Clarksville, TN that one Thursday afternoon, a man walked up to the Church; this man was distraught and said that he did not know where to turn. He had lived a life filled with excessive drug use, and it had cost him his wife and two children. So he began speaking with Pastor J. Bishop of House of Prayer Clarksville, TN, and one of the other brothers of the Church, explaining that he needed help. This man had just been released from jail, and the first place he found himself was the House of God, a place where prayer was being made, and the oil was still burning! So that night, this man found himself in a fired-up church service where he prayed and allowed God to begin work in his life. In the days to come, through the power of prayer and the love of God and the brethren, this man’s family was restored unto him!

This is just one of the: many testimonies of the wonderful works that God is doing in the House of Prayer Christian Church Clarksville, TN. The testimonies go on and on from men and women fleeing oppression in their home countries finding themselves in Clarksville, TN, with no one to help, until a sister who just left a prayer meeting ran into them, or a man that had fled the military in search of a life in sin, only to be met by brethren when he was brought back to his military post, and led to Christ through the power of prayer. We were told by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ that we were to “Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that Is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:36 NIV)
