Pastor J Bishop of House of Prayer Christian Church Clarksville, TN, also known as HOPCC or House of Prayer Clarksville, has been a faithful member since 2005, shortly after the start of the Church the year prior.  House of Prayer Christian Church is a missionary-minded Church with many locations around the country and affiliates around the world.  It is a Church that believes in the bond of charity and living the old-fashioned Word of God.  This amazing Church is a church that not only preaches prayer and believes in prayer, but it is a church that still practices prayer.  It is a church of prayer in more than name only but one in action, having more prayer meetings scheduled than church services!  Paul said in 1 Timothy 2:8, “I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing.”

J Bishop of House of Prayer Christian Church Testimony

In January 2005, J Bishop of House of Prayer Christian Church got orders from the United States Air Force to be stationed at Pope Air Force Base outside of Fayetteville, NC.  It was here that J Bishop, along with his wife Tomasina Bishop and their three children, would start attending House of Prayer in Fayetteville, NC.  Shortly after their arrival, a couple of ladies invited his wife out to a church service; it was there that their lives would forever change.  After completing his military service J Bishop and his family stayed and continued to work for God in this mighty Church.  In 2014 J Bishop and his family received the call to move from the HOPCC location in Fayetteville to House of Prayer Clarksville, TN, where he is currently the pastor.

Pastor J Bishop of HOPCC Clarksville is one that believes in the power of prayer and obedience to the truth.  During his time in Clarksville, TN, the Church has been involved in reaching the lost In any way possible.  The Church has gone on missionary trips to Chattanooga, TN, as well as Nashville, TN, amongst other places, just to pray with people and show the love of God to those that need it!  They are involved in a dynamic military outreach that focuses on reaching out to the men and women of our military, giving them a home away from home, a place to come and surround themselves with like-minded men and women just looking to make it to Heaven.  They also have an established food bank where many needy families are aided with food as well as prayer and given the opportunity to come back for one of their many church services.  Pastor J Bishop of House of Prayer Christian Church in Clarksville, TN, believes wholeheartedly in the commission we have received from our Lord Jesus Christ.  In Mark 16:15 NIV, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.”
