Ministries in Tennessee is excited to feature Pastor J Lawrence Turner.  Pastor J Lawrence Turner was born in Nashville, TN.  Pastor J Lawrence Turner is happily married to Bridgette Bush, and they have one son and one daughter.  Pastor J Lawrence Turner has touched the lives of many people!  Before serving as the Pastor at Mississippi Blvd., Christian church, Pastor Turner pastored the Community Baptist Church in New Haven, Connecticut, for seven years.  Pastor Turner is a 2003 magna cum laude graduate of Fiske University with a bachelor of arts degree in religion and philosophy.  He received his Master of Divinity degree from Yale Divinity school and was awarded the prestigious H.H. Tweedy Prize for exceptional promise for pastoral leadership.

Furthermore, Pastor Turner received his Dr. of Ministry degree in Transformative Leadership at the Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School in Rochester, NY.  His strong belief in the importance of family values was shaped by his parents, and Pastor Turner lives each day believing in the biblical truth of Ephesians 3:20, “Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than we can ask or imagine…” With God there are no limitations!
